Love is the most important thing in our lives, yet we are taught very little about it. Did you know that 1 in 3 women and nearly 1 in 4 men have experienced relationship abuse? This means that someone in your life has most likely been a victim of this. One Love is a huge part of my life not only because I work there but because I believe, to the core of me, that the work being done is changing lives. I get goosebumps each time someone reaches out to us to let us know how One Love's content has helped them realize they were in an abusive relationship.
One Love educates young people about the difference between healthy and unhealthy relationships. Through compelling workshops and peer-to-peer discussions, One Love opens young people’s eyes to unhealthy behaviors and offers a framework they can use to discuss these behaviors in their own lives. Empowered to pass this information on, young people spread our message to their communities in-person and online.
Please help me support the One Love Foundation by making a contribution to my fundraiser and sharing this page with your family and friends. I will run 1.2 million yards over the course of three months (August to October) in honor of Yeardley and many others who have lost their life to relationship abuse. Every dollar I raise will help spread the message. Together, we can make a difference!
